Dance Biography
 

Born in Caracas, Venezuela; Alex moved to Miami at the age of ten. In his freshman year of high school he participated in the very first Salsa dancing elective course in the United States where he began his training in different types Salsa dancing and other Musical Arts. By the beginning of his senior year, he was president of the G. Holmes Braddock Senior High Salsa Club where he began to choreograph class and school events.

In his first and second year of college, he was a part of the Spanish Arts Club where he taught Salsa and participated in events for the community. During this time he was also teaching and performing for Salsa Lovers Dance Studios for four years.

In 2005 he opened Latin X-Treme and taught for Carlos Albizu University. Since the beginning of 2006 he teaches, performs, and choreographs shows for Salsa Mia -- the hottest Salsa Entertainment School on South Beach in Miami, Florida.
